Treat this one as unknown

1. This city doesn't publish who pulled the permit, so nobody can tell from the record whether the work is already assigned.
2. Sign in as a subscribed contractor to see the address for post or a door knock.
3. Lead with a question rather than a quote: ask whether they have the trade covered.

2 permits at this address

These were filed as separate permits but look like one project. Firms already named on it are worth a call — ask whether the remaining trades are covered.

General guidance based on the permit type — not legal advice, and not a substitute for checking current Alberta requirements yourself.

• Suite code requirements

Secondary suites must meet Alberta Building Code rules for egress windows, fire separation and ventilation — a common source of failed inspections.
